WANT TO GET AS FAR AS TRYING A DIVE IN THE SEA?- attend Part 1 of the BSAC Ocean Diver Course Ocean Diver(2.5 days - 1 day theory, 1 day pool training, 1 morning doing 2 shore dives) WANT TO BECOME A QUALIFIED DIVER?- attend a full BSAC Ocean Diver Course Ocean Diver(Different programs available, for example: 5 days - 2 days theory, 1 day pool training, 2 mornings doing 2 shore dives, 1 day doing 2 boat dives) Just the first grade in what could become a lifetime of adventure and fun. OCEAN DIVER COURSES(must be able to swim 200m comfortably, retrieve an object from 3m, complete a medical declaration and have parental approval if under 18) IMPORTANT - COME IN FOR A MEETING TO DISCUSS WHICH OPTION BEST SUITS YOUR NEEDS - email info@marinedivers.com to arrange a meeting. FOR ALL OPTIONS: Cost will be discussed when you come in for a meeting to discuss which option best meets your needs. PROGRAM: Fixed courses- Training days set by school, subject to change. Winter Courses - WINTER COURSES 2009 / 2010 or Flexible courses available to members only. COURSE SIZE: Group training (minimum 4 students, but max 4 students per instructor in pool, and max 2 students per instructor in sea). Individual or small group training only available to members. OCEAN DIVER COURSE OPTIONS1. FIXED PROGRAM - "THE WEEKEND COURSE" OCEAN DIVER 5 Days - 3 weeks (For members only) (Dates set by school, subject to change) (Make up lessons at extra cost) (Minimum 4 students) (Courses start first Tuesday of every month) 1 Tuesday Night - Swimming Test, Admin 2 Saturdays / Sundays 0800 to approx 1800 - Theory and Pool lessons 1 Tuesday Night - Theory exam 3 Saturdays / Sundays 0830 to approx 1800 - Open Water lessons
2. FIXED PROGRAM - "THE EVENING COURSE" OCEAN DIVER 11 weeks (For members or non members) (Dates set by school, subject to change) (Make up lessons at extra cost) (Minimum 4 students) (Courses start first Tuesday of every month) 1 Tuesday Night - Swimming Test, Admin 8 Wednesday Nights 1900 to 2300 - Theory and Pool lessons 3 Saturdays / Sundays 0830 to approx 1800 approx - Open Water lessons
3. FIXED PROGRAM - "THE STANDARD COURSE" OCEAN DIVER 6 days - 1 week (For members only) (Dates set by school subject to change) (Make up lessons at extra cost) (Minimum 4 students) (Courses start subject to demand) 1 Tuesday Night - Swimming Test and Admin 3 Full Days (Monday to Friday) 0830 to approx 1830 - Theory and Pool lessons. 3 Days (Monday to Friday) 0830 till dives complete - Open Water lessons. COURSES START WHEN SCHEDULED BY MARINE DIVERS - eg SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
4. FLEXIBLE PROGRAM - "THE FULL MONTY" OCEAN DIVER (Courses start at any time to suit student availability) (For members only) (Individual / small group training available) (Dates set by student subject to instructor availability) (Change program with adequate notice) 1 Tuesday Night - Swimming Test and Admin 5 or 6 Full Days (or longer) or equivalent evenings and weekends to suit student availability. COURSES START ANY DAY ON DEMANDSign up as early as possible to get dates you want. Admin: Any Tuesday 1900 hrs.
