DIVE TRIPS FOR DIVERS VISITING HONG KONG

Marine Divers can provide dive trips for visiting qualified divers any day or night, if we are not already committed to training or overseas trips.

Unlike other dive operators in Hong Kong we will even take a single diver out on a trip.

The dive trip may be a shore dive to have your photo taken with a Seahorse.

Step 1. ADVANCE BOOKING

It is important to book in advance with as much notice of your trip to Hong Kong as possible.

When you first contact us we will send you an Information Sheet for visitors, this should answer most of your questions and let you know what we can provide and what you need to bring.

If you have any other queries please let us know straight away.

We suggest you copy the Information Sheet and bring it with you as it has our contact details and address for meetings / trip pick up on it.

We require a US$100 deposit for advanced booking, this means we will add your planned trips into our Schedule.

Otherwise you will have to take pot luck when you arrive in Hong Kong if we are available or not.

Step 2. ARRIVAL IN HONG KONG

As soon as you arrive in Hong Kong please contact us with details of your hotel, room number, and most importantly contact numbers.

We also need you to come for a meeting with us (at least 24 hours before your trip with us) at The United Services Recreation Club (USRC) - an ex British Military Officers Club - a location very few visitors to Hong Kong ever see.

Bring your proof of qualification and logbook.

This meeting is to complete paperwork, receive a final brief for the trip(s), get sized for any equipment you require, pay any balance owing, and not least find out where to go for trip pickup.

The USRC will be the meeting place for the dive trip, so you will find out how to get there from your hotel without having a last minute rush on the day of the trip - keeping to timings is critical.

Step 3. THE DIVE TRIP

The dive sites offered will depend on the usual factors: weather, number of divers etc.

If you wish to arrive early (0800) for the trip and wish to have breakfast, this optional extra can be organised by prior arrangement.

During the dives we will take photos of you to provide a souvenir of your time with us.

After diving, we can also offer an optional extra Dim Sum lunch (or Seafood dinner for night dives) in Sai Kung - a fishing town, or meal / snack when we return to the USRC.

All trips end at the USRC with a hot shower, a cold beer / soft drink, completing logbooks etc.

Its your trip and we are here to give you a good day out.
